...among gardens, farm animals, and the natural wonders of a rural setting, all under the guidance of our experienced teachers. In addition to traditional classroom-style learning and creative play, children enrolled in our programs participate in daily farm routines to gain an appreciation of the origins of food and fiber, and to learn the value of a care-taking role with plants, animals, the earth and one another.
Whether your child attends our pre-school, one of our afterschool programs, or a summer day camp, the possibilities are endless: brush a goat, feel a rabbit's downy fur, watch butterflies hatch and take flight, feed and collect eggs from our chickens and ducks, plant a seed, sample from our organic garden beds, and learn to make crafts and food just like farmers of old.
Our mission is to supplement and foster the good citizenship, life experiences, and education of area youth - to provide them with the kind of simple, old-fashioned experiences that are hard to find these days. Our goals include encouraging kids to maintain active lifestyles, eat healthy and nutritious foods, experience the wonder of nature and the sciences, take care of their environment, and participate in their community as people of character. At the same time, we provide parents with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that their children are learning and thriving in a natural setting- without the negative influences of "plugging in" to TV, video games or other electronic media.

Each month we will post information about our programs and events on this site, as well as in our quarterly newsletter.
